Which Cyberpunk 2077 lifepath should you choose?

Which is the outflank Cyberpunk 2077 lifepath for you? Selecting your backstory is one of the first decisions you'll have to make when creating your part. There are three personal histories to choose between and they all affect how your inaugural chapter plays stunned.

Hacker doesn't draw a blank that early decision after the prologue, either. Your prime is embedded much deeper in the game, influencing your dialog options, quests, and more throughout your adventures in Night City. In this guide, we'll help you name an informed decision when choosing same of Cyberpunk 2077's lifepaths. Here's what you need to know.

Which Cyberpunk 2077 lifepath should you choose?

Corpo

Dressy playing the part of an Arasaka counterintel agent? When you've worked your way to the pinnacle, it seems as though there's solitary one way to go, so you're in a sticky pip at the beginning of this intro. Everyone's on edge and it looks similar it's your responsibility to pure dormie this mess.

Corpo V is unambiguously clued up on everything Corporate, so you can use this to your advantage to trip up others, and still persuade them to do things for you. Others within the keep company depend along you, but someone you think power be trustworthy keister switch on you quick. Your experience makes it a spate harder for others to influence you, unless they happen to be your stamp, of course.

Preceptor't bear Corpo V to be a ruthless, cruel treater no weigh the playthrough, though. You can use their biz experience both to work with and work over the corporate elite of Night City, with just about helpful dialogue choices offered up on the side of many smaller players in and outside the city. But the Corpo way as wel means you can usually extract any you want from whoever you want, without explicit force. If you want all last drop of intel and eddies in your pocket no matter who gets burned, the Corpo path is definitely for you (you delicious monster).

James Davenport finished the game (and wrote our Cyberpunk 2077 limited review) as a regenerate Corpo V and dug how well his intended roleplaying path was supported throughout, even if the meaningful Corpo dialogue choices are pretty rare. Most ofttimes the Corpo dialogue options are there just to color in your character and rarely determine quest outcomes, but the Corpo options are frequent and different enough to keep the head canon running.

As Corpo V you understand that you need to do whatever it takes to get results, and there's no such thing as playing fair.

Nomad

As the Nomad, you start off in the Badlands, the dry desert stretching around the periphery of Night City. You've broken away from your clan and you're traveling solo, but you won't embody unequalled for long. You're leaving Southern California and making your manner to Night City to begin a life in that location, but there's a job to manage start. There's just about questionable cargo that needs to personify taken across the boundary line and information technology's on you to ensure it slips through safely.

As you'Re experienced in this line, it'll get in handy later down the line. You'll have Nomad dialogue options in some conversations that'll let you draw connected your knowledge and practice it to negotiate. It Crataegus laevigata just score you some info for out-of-school. Past in that respect are quests and characters that'll be tailored to your backstory, too.

Emma enjoyed the Nomad intro as V is acquiring ready to start fresh in the city, and this eases you into the game comfortably. If you like beingness nosey, it's interesting to get a feel for the area and suss out the town before zooming slay in your car, even though you can't speak to many characters at the start.

Driving cross-country in the Badlands desert is also great fun, so set a bit moment of clip aside to quiz out your motorcar. Later on, the Nomad dialogue options have been useful for digging deeper for more information in quests, and they help you stay on the right side of certain characters. With regards to Nomad V's values, if being honest and having strong moral principles is a high priority for you, Nomad is the way to go.

Street Kid

The Street Nipper knows the city well, and it's light-haired to say that you'ray used to getting into scraps. This write up starts in the Elevated Coyote Cojo Blockade in Heywood, where you'll play a job to help your acquaintance, World Health Organization's having some money troubles. You'll meet a few characters along the way, including Padre, who V is already familiar with.

This intro gives you a brief glance at the detrition between gangs in the area, and you can see that tensions are running senior high school. Street Kid V has their family and friends in spite of appearance, soh information technology's natural that you'll neediness to stand up your primer against another gangs. However, having deep roots in the urban center and lots of connections going second years also gives you an edge. When speaking to other crowd members, you'll have more options to extract information without last with cash operating theatre having to use force.

Andy Kelly reckons that of the three life path intros, the Street Tike's is the shortest—and arguably the least interesting. You wear't suffice much before you befriend Jackie, triggering the montage that leads into the biz proper. He recommends sticking with the Nomad or Corpo if you want a more work out and involved introduction to the game.

The Street Kid's singular talks options are spread all over the metropolis (unlike the Nomad, which appear mostly in the Bad Lands), but this does mean they have less focus. This V tends to know the names of work party leaders, the chronicle of parts of the metropolis, and other such details. But this knowledge International Relations and Security Network't as distinctive, or specific, As the other two origin stories. Street Kid V is like a jack of entirely trades, and their by doesn't seem to factor A heavily into their negotiation.
